The Stories of Jesus Part 3: The Leaven of The Pharisees (Matthew 16:5-12)
There are many false teachers in this world which seek to poison the minds of society as to lead them astray from the true Gospel.  Don't let the shady used car salesman-like false teachers of this world to lead you into a lemon-like faith.  Beware the leaven of the pharisees.

    WTDASCC Part 11: Intentional Discipleship (1 Corinthians 9:26-27 & Proverbs 27:17)
Transformation in the lives of believers doesn't just magically happen.  You can't just enter into a church or be born to a family of Christians and expect to supernaturally be more like Christ.  And though that sentiment seems silly at first glance, if we were to think about it, we would understand that this is how the church has functioned in relationship to discipleship for a large amount of the past two centuries.  No, discipleship must be intentional.  It must be strategic, planned, and expected by the leaders of the church.  Each believer must be encouraged and expected to have a daily personal discipleship plan and a corporate growth plan of disciple making where they are pouring into the lives of others and others are pouring into their lives as well.  If discipleship isn't intentional then transformation will be unlikely!

Thanksgiving 2020 Celebration – Thankful For The Fleas
    Series: Stand Alone

Let's be honest, we struggle to be thankful for the most obvious things; family, friends, our homes, jobs, transportation, health, food etc... How much more is it a struggle to be thankful for the things that aren't so obvious or are things we don't want to be thankful for such as the fleas. Today God is calling some of us to be more thankful... not just for the obvious things but for the hard things. God has you where he has you today to show you his goodness through his mysterious ways. Would you be willing to thank him today for your financial stress, your struggling relationship, your failing health, your frustrations and stresses? You never know how he's going to turn it around for your good. When You Find It Hard To Thank God For Something... Thank Him Anyway
