We all face an uncertain future, but we forget that Jesus’ family once faced an uncertain future as well.  They had to escape the threat of death at night and go to Egypt.  They had to return to another town because the threat remained even after they came back.  Even then they did not know what awaited their son Jesus who would eventually die for the sins of humanity on the cross.  We all face an uncertain future, and in 2021 the same threats we faced the year before will remain.  Where do we place our trust?  We place our trust in the one who raised from the dead and is coming again.  In the end we win… so in 2021 we also win.
