Come and See Part 6: The Crucifixion (John 19:16-42) – Good Friday
Series: Come & See
Jesus did way more on the cross than just die.  Anyone can die, but it took the Son of God on the cross carrying the weight of the world's sin for us to be saved.  Jesus had to be rejected on the cross by his Father in order for us to be accepted by the Father.

Why The Gospels: An Intro To Year of The Gospels (Luke 1:1-4, John 20:30-31)
    Series: Stand Alone
In 2022 we are going to be focusing on the four Gospels.  The word "Gospel" simply means Good News and each of the four Gospels presents the good news of Jesus Christ through unique perspectives.  But the reason they were written remains the same; to tell of who Jesus is, what he was sent to do, and what our response to that should be.  As Luke says to Theophilus, the Gospels are written to us for the sake of knowing Jesus, and thus we must, as Luke, share Jesus to those who don't know him.  This is the Good News.

WTDASCC Part 14: Covenant Partnership (1 Corinthians 12:25-26)
Covenant partnership is not something just reserved for Sunday, It's something expected every day!  When we come together as a body of believers and a faith family we come with a promise to be slow to push away from the table and quick to establish common ground and unity in Christ.  We then partner together to accomplish our Vision Statement for the sake of seeing people saved and transformed by the Gospel.

James Part 14: Yes / No
    Series: James
As Christians, we should be the most honest people in the world.  As people of faith in the one true God, we should never rely on oaths and striking bargains... his will is enough.  Don't destroy your testimony or relationship with God by refusing to simply let your yes be yes and your no be no.

King of Kings 2: Worship Fit For A King
The wisemen travelled thousands of miles over many days based on thousand year old prophecies just for a chance to worship the One True King of Kings.   They left everything they knew, and everyone they loved to go worship the Messiah.  While Israel itself was troubled over his arrival, wisemen from another country did everything they could to be a part of his nativity.  Those who recognize that Jesus is King of Kings will stop at nothing to worship HIm.  We don't worship out of convenience or obligation, we worship out of obedience.

Philippians Part 7: The Practice of Standing Firm While Running
    Series: Philippians

How can we run and stand firm at the same time? They are pretty much opposite actions. If I run I can't stand firm, and if I stand firm I can't run. Is Paul confused? Have we finally found a contradiction here in the Word of God? Of is it possible that we can both run and stand firm at the same time?

As crazy as it sounds, this is actually not a paradox. This morning I want you to know that the Christian life is both a race to run and a rest to stand firm in. I want us this morning to learn how to practice running while standing firm. You see, there is a secret to the Christian's joy. And, it's this; Jesus lives in us, and in a way runs for us, and if we are to lay hold of his life it is necessary that we stop trying to run the race ourselves, but allow him to run it in our stead. So we stand firm in Christ who actually runs our race. The Secret to Running the Christian Race is Keeping a Firm Grip On Christ Within.
