No Longer A Slave

Paul isn't just asking Philemon to welcome Onesimus back into the same situation he was in before. Rather, Paul is imploring that when God brings you back together that it be a better more perfect union. God orchestrated this mess in order to turn it into something better; a miracle. The Gospel takes slaves and makes them family.
