Beholden To One Kingdom

As Christians we are two kingdom people. We are a part of this world and are subject to it. We are also citizens of Heaven and the kingdom of God and are beholden to it. We cannot be separate from this world physically and so we must be in the world but not of the world. We are to be a light in the darkness, but we must never become the darkness. We serve the world and those in it willingly, but we must never be put in a situation where we must serve this world. We are independent from this world with allies of this world, but we are beholden to the kingdom of God alone.
