Why Do We Pray

We know that we should pray. We know that pray makes all the difference. We know we can't do it in our own strength and so we have to depend on God to do it. But if this is all you know then there still may be a disconnect as to why we NEED to pray! Can't I continue praying the way I've always prayed? You may not even see a need or reason to change your prayer habits. This morning we want to show you why prayer is necessary and foundational as a means of putting our faith in Christ. Simply put, we pray because God can do what we cannot and prayer is the way we show this and activate this. Prayer is the way we hand control over to God to let him do what only he can do.
