Not Forgotten

In Genesis 40 Joseph was left to rot in prison and when it seemed that he could get out he was forgotten by the cup bearer. When things aren't going our way we can feel that God has forgotten us. He hasn't. Instead he is working out his plan and purpose for us. And how do we know that we are not forgotten by God? Because he has forgiven us of our sins and given us eternal life. We are never forgotten by God, but we are fully forgiven.
