The Mercy of God

The story of Noah and the Ark is often portrayed as a story of the wrath of God, but ultimately it is a story of the mercy of God. You see, man's sin, nor God's wrath, are ever the end of the story. The story of God always ends with and centers on his mercy. And that mercy is always focused upon the greatest act of mercy of all time, salvation in his son Jesus Christ. How can we enter into that mercy? Simple, through faith. Noah shows us what it looks like to be faithful in the midst of wickedness and ultimately enter into the mercy of God.
